Aesthetics: Constructed using injection moulded components, which impart a flawless professional image. The graphics cover 100% of the surface area, and all capping strips are colour coded.
Mass: The rotating section weighs less than 2kg, and is removable from the base and bearing assembly. This assists the representative in transporting and placing the unit.
Performance: Designed in the CSRI wind-tunnel using aerodynamic principals to achieve a quick start up speed, but have a low maximum speed. This assists in allowing the advertising message to be seen and comprehended in a variety of wind conditions.
Construction: Constructed so that the base, bearing support pole and rotating unit can easily be separated. This assists in transportation and placing, as well as in reducing vandalism during the hours of darkness.
Bases: We offer a choice of 2 bases: a concrete base with a mass of 27.5 kg , and a plastic base that can be water or sand filled. The empty plastic base weighs approximately 3.5kg. The plastic base is stackable. Both bases are designed of a sufficient mass to keep the Windvane upright in a variety of wind conditions.
Public Liability: Due to our soft curves, slower rotating speeds and light mass, damage in any potential collision is dramatically reduced. Our unit was tested and approved by the CSRI for motorway use.
UV & Corrotion Protection Our unit is corrosion resistant. All plastic components are UV protected, and cannot rust.
